Flanders Hotel was alive with excitement Sunday for the 90th Anniversary Gala. 300 were in attendance for the Roaring Twenties soiree close

Rockfish, Filet of sirloin, & Chocolate Mousee, as well as pastries from

Museum. A brief history of the hotel was presented by Peter Voudouris from the
Flanders Condo Assoc and prizes were awarded for the Best Dressed Costumes from
the Roaring 20s. Noel Wirth won for best ladies costume and Mike Columbo won
for his vintage bathing suit.

we enjoyed amazing hors d'oeuvres including Beef Wellington and Bacon wrapped

enjoyed many wonderful memories of the Flanders Hotel including swimming
lessons in the saltwater pool in the 60s. It was so exciting to see people dive

In 1973 we attended
Ocean City High School's Senior Prom at the Flanders. Our wedding reception was held in the Plate
Room. The hotel hosted my Dad, Joel Mott's, retirement party, my sister's wedding
reception, a church retreat in 2012 with Good Samaritan Church from Paoli PA
recently this summer a wonderful High Tea. (Now held the first Thursday of each

We also had a blast at our 40th Class Reunion June 1, 2013 and have fond
memories of the Charity League's Christmas Mart and many Chamber of Commerce
and political events over the years.
